A whole month in Byron Bay. No production pressure. No studio obligations. Just time, space, and a bungalow that quietly insists you stay a while.

In partnership with Densi, The Sunseeker is offering one artist a full month to slow down and go deep - to finish the thing that keeps getting interrupted, to start something entirely new, or simply to follow wherever the work leads.

Paint, write, draw, make. Then walk through the forest, swim with the whales, or sit under the stars in an outdoor bath and think about nothing at all.

The Sunseeker's bungalows offer simple, beautiful living - fully equipped kitchens, the outside always finding its way in, and Byron Bay on your doorstep.

This is a residency for artists who need space more than structure.

The Host

Tucked away on the fringe of Byron Bay, The Sunseeker is a 22-room boutique hotel thoughtfully reimagined from a classic 80s motel by founders Jess and Dave - built in collaboration with local artists, makers, and craftspeople, and rooted in the creative spirit of the town it calls home.

‍Included: Accommodation for the full month, with the bungalow entirely to yourself

‍Please note: There is no dedicated studio on site - but your bungalow is yours to use however your practice calls for. Paint, draw, write, choreograph, shoot, sculpt, stitch - whatever making looks like for you, there's space for it here

‍Travel & food: Artists are responsible for organising their own food and travel to and from The Sunseeker
